A superb performance on a perfect night for football in Porterstown, saw Castleknock seal 2nd place and promotion.  After a tense and nervy opening Kacper Kuzma settled everyone with a well taken goal mid way through the first half.  This was quicly followed by a 2nd when Kacper popped up to volley a Kyle Paton cross to the back of the net.  

The second half started with Castleknock on the attack.  Despite some heroic defending from Marino they went further behind to a superb David Kelly free kick.   Castleknock were now rampant, and Shane Coffey knocked in a fourth from close range.  With Castleknock dominating Marino conceded a penalty, when a shot from Tony O' Leary was handled on the goal line.  Kacper Kuzma duly dispatched the resultant penalty for his hat trick and an emphatic Castleknock win. 

This was just reward for a very talented hardworking group of players.
